Fandom High Teachers and Staff: Pt. 1

So today, the other Knights and I decided to pass the time by coming up with teachers and staff from various fandoms for Fandom High (a high school populated with fandom characters). Here's what we came up with:

English Teacher: Benedict Cumberbatch
Reasoning: Who wouldn't want to hear his voice reading poems and stuff?

History Teacher: The Doctor
Reasoning: He knows everything about the past, present, and even future.

Chemistry Teacher: Severus Snape
Reasoning: Chemistry is the Muggle version of Potions, and Snape was a damn good Potions teacher.

P.E. Teacher: Dean Winchester
Reasoning: I think this picture explains it all...

Engineering Teacher: Tony Stark
Reasoning: Well, he DID engineer a super suit. And infinitely sustainable power. So... yeah.

Biology Teachers: Beast Boy and Poison Ivy
Reasoning: Well, they have a bit of a firsthand knowledge of Biology...

Forensics Teacher: Sherlock Holmes
Reasoning: Keep in mind that Sherlock and Benedict are NOT the same here. Sherlock is the best in this field.

Psychology Teacher: Professor X
Reasoning: Well, he can see into everyone's mind... It makes sense that he'd understand it.

Librarian: Belle
Reasoning: Well, if there's any character who loves books more than us, it's Belle.

Cafeteria Cook: Peeta Mellark
Reasoning: Mmmmm.... Cake....

Swim Coach: Percy Jackson
Reasoning: Well, he is the son of the sea god...

Archery Coach: Katniss Everdenn
Reasoning: Have you SEEN her shoot? She's a natural!

Janitor: Mary Poppins
Reasoning: It just takes a *snap*!

School Counselor: Raven
Reasoning: Well, she does have her own... *cough* family issues... So she can relate to kids with the same problems, although probably to a... lesser extent...

Vice Principal: Killian Jones (Captain Hook)
Reasoning: He has great leadership, plus amazing chemistry with our principal...

Principal: Emma Swan
Reasoning: She's displayed amazing leadership skills, plus won't take any high schooler's crap.

We may add more later, but for now... What do you guys think?

Once Upon a Dream 55 Years Later

On this day in 1959, the Walt Disney Company released their timeless animated classic Sleeping Beauty, a story based around Princess Aurora, who was cursed as a baby by the evil Maleficent to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die on her 16th birthday. Luckily, the three fairies of good, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather come up with the idea of placing a sleeping curse on her instead of dying, and to be sure Maleficent's prophecy won't come true, the fairies take the young princess and raise her in an abandon cottage in the woods. Raised by the name of Brier Rose, Aurora grows up to be a miraculously beautiful maiden with a flawless singing voice. Through trial and error, Maleficent's prophecy does come true and Aurora pricks her finger and falls into a deep sleep. From that point on it is up to the quick thinking of the fairies and the bravery of the handsome Prince Phillip to stop Maleficent and save Aurora. 55 years later, this movie continues to enchant the young and the young at heart. Who can't help but smile at the witty personalities of the fairies, or try to hit those really high notes while singing the timeless classic "Once Upon a Dream"? Also, you can't help but cringe at the shear evil that occupies the personality of the evil Maleficent (all you Kingdom Keepers fans have some extra hatred toward this certin villian). Although with the upcoming release of the life action movie Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie, attitudes towards this villian might chance since we'll probably see a more humane side of her, possibly without the villanous skin shade of green. All in all, this movie will definatly encourage fans of any age to make friends with some woodland creatures, find your true love through song (or maybe even a kiss), and ask yourself the question that will never be answered: Why not just make the dress purple?

More of Our Favorite Hidden Letters

Calling all Sherlockians! Tonight on PBS was the showing of the second episode of season three of Sherlock titled The Sign of Three. As the credits rolled, we see that once again, letters were highlighted in bright red. In order of their apperence, the letters spell out ISADORA PERSANO. After a little digging around in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original Sherlock Holmes stories, it turns out Isadora Persano is mentioned in The Problem of Thor Bridge. Could this name be a possible clue for a victim in a case in the next episode of Sherlock? Only next week can give us an answer...

Even more thoughts on the letters

A few days ago I got some help from a friend of mine (who will remain unnamed for her privacy) on the letters. They could spell out G. Weng, China which could possible be an indication of where what could  be up coming in next episode.

Fan Theories about PotC 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales

A few months ago, Disney announced that the 5th installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series will be released in 2016. They've been releasing plot teases and some of the cast list ever since, and fans have been making theories as they get released. The theories that follow are either my own or by my fellow pirates.

1. The Cabin Boy is actually Will and Elizabeth's son.
Robbie Kay (who some of you might know from Once Upon a Time) will reprise his role of the cabin boy from Pirates 4. This is a likely theory, but my one problem with it is that the filmmakers don't specify how much time passed between the end of Pirates 3 and the start of Pirates 4. He could be their kid, but he could be an orphan. We will have to wait 2 years to find out.

2. Witches are coming.
This isn't a fan theory, but more of a leaked possible plot point. They kinda went this route with the addition of Tia Dalma in Pirates 2, but  it could work. I mean, the title is 'dead men tell no tales' for gods sake. And speaking of dead men....

3. James Norrington is returning to the land of the living.
When the news of Pirates 5 was first released, they hinted that a member of the Royal Navy would return as a ghost to go for revenge with Barbossa. And on IMDb, it is rumored that Jack Davenport will reprise his role as James Norrington. I'm intrested in how they work him into the plot. Personally, I'm hoping for a new love intrest.

4. Things I hope will happen
I've heard that their giving Jack a new love intrest that might or might not be Barbossa's daughter. It seems like a good idea, but audiences didn't really like the last love intrest they gave Jack. I'm just hoping they do a better job this time. I'm also kinda hoping they give James a happy ending. I.. I'll just be so happy if they do that.

If it wasn't obvious already, one of the main reasons I'm gonna see this movie is James Norrington. If they really want to surprise me, they will bring back Lieutenant Groves and Gillette as well, but I don't see that happening.

(P. S. I might be doing movie reviews on the first four movies when it gets closer to the release date. )

Teen Wolf Season 3B So Far: More Bad Than Good

SPOILERS BELOW

So since the blog was just started, it obviously would have been impossible for me to review the first few episodes of Teen Wolf Season 3B individually, so I'll just go over everything so far at once. So as not to be confusing, I will be acting as if the second episode of 3B is episode 2 (it's technically 14).

SPOILERS BELOW

Episode 2: More Bad Than Good
Oh, so we're going to start out at the same point as the ending. Yay. Well, now we know the torturer. Oh wait, we don't. It's some weirdo we haven't met before. Oh great, they're speaking in Spanish. What do they want? I don't know, I can't understand. Oh, look, here comes an elderly lady. I bet she'll tell us. What do you want, old lady? Oh, the she-wolf? Do you mean Cora? Well, you should know Derek won't hand her over. Don't believe me? Ask him!
Of course, he doesn't tell her, but she has other plans. Peter is quite different than Derek. She knows he has a self-preservation instinct. But how to threaten him? Oh. OH. Gross. Nice, cut off his finger. Lovely. Well, now we know, you have 9 chances, buddy.
Skip to the other plotline. Scott and Stiles find the werecoyotes den. Good job. Now you know where she WON'T be. But where WILL she be?
Well, Agent McCall is an a**. But we all knew that, didn't we. But he really isn't being helpful. He's just an obstruction. I wish his son had gone off on him last episode. It would have been SO satisfying.
Oh. That's where Malia's headed. But of course. Where else but the town?
Oh, by the way, this next part was what made me sure I liked Kira. Her awkwardness is beautiful. I love it. I just love it. It reminds me of a female me. It's perfect.
So, yep. Goodbye, Scallison, hello, Scira. New OTP. And I just KNOW it's gonna go wrong. But one can hope!
Anyways... Of course, dyslexic Stiles gets picked to read in class. Is it gonna activate? Maybe not... Whelp. There it is. That must be frustrating. So frustrating that Stiles practically faints in class. Of course, BFF Scott is on the job.
"I'll take him to the nurse"
*takes Stiles to locker room*
Like, okay then. But I guess the whole finger thing is okay. Feels kinda overdramatic, though.
1
*dramatic pause*
2
*dramatic music in the background*
3
You get the drift.
Wow, look at Kira, being all nice and helpful. She should get a reward. But nope, instead she gets almost eaten. You'd think she could take it, given the fact that she's a, you know... Well, maybe you don't. They haven't actually said in the show yet, just in interviews.
But anyway, instead she cowers. And look, Ma, look, it's tiptoeing! Just like Allison said it would!
Here comes Scott to the rescue! Underdog! Yay! (aren't I so clever?)
Oh, look, she must want the doll. How adorable. Let's kill people to get the doll. Great logic.
Someone's saving our shirtless heroes! Who is it? Oh. It's the girl all the way back from the first episode. Thought she was dead. Guess not.
Well, she saved them, and now the animal control are in the school.
Stiles' dad seems a bit annoying. Get your head in the (supernatural) game (WILDCATS!). Come on. Well, now Kira has more awkward moments. Don't worry, Kira, making friends is hard. You'll get there. Pinky swear.
Great, let's tranq the coyote. Who we gonna call? Ghostbusters! Nope, just Allison. And she hasn't even got her perfect aim. Great.
Well, Scott's gonna ALPHA Malia into human form. How ALPHA of him. Such a great ALPHA.
But first, he has to talk to the only two Alphas who were actually cool. That's right, the twins, Ethan and Aidan.
Of course, Lydia keeps in touch with Aidan. Such a rebel.
Well, where are they? I don't see them, where could they-
OMG COOL ENTRANCE! But they're beating up Scott. So helpful!
Except it apparently is. Losing control GIVES him control. Try to figure out THAT paradox, Sherlock.
That is, until they "help" too much. Now he's lying on the table bleeding. Yay.
Oh. The doll is the apology to the dead sister. That actually IS kinda sweet. Now I feel tears in my eyes, even though the moment isn't meant to be sad. Well.
Well, both Lydia and Isaac are in bear traps. I feel bad, I love both characters. Of course, Isaac was stupid enough to trigger it, but Lydia is smart. She didn't lift her foot.
Well, Stiles gets Lydia out.
ALPHA SCOTT. ALPHA. SCOTT. Gives Isaac strength to escape the bear trap, impresses Stiles, but, most importantly, humanizes Malia. And now she's naked. Delightful.
What's this? Fireflies? Oh, they're gonna turn human. How nice. Whatever could this be? A nice little gift to the world? Probably not.

Teen Wolf Season 3B So Far: Anchors

SPOILERS BELOW

So since the blog was just started, it obviously would have been impossible for me to review the first few episodes of Teen Wolf Season 3B individually, so I'll just go over everything so far at once. So as not to be confusing, I will be acting as if the first episode of 3B is episode 1 (it's technically 13).

SPOILERS BELOW

Episode 1: Anchors
This was a pretty interesting episode. After this episode, I wasn't sure about Kira. I loved her introduction though. It was pretty gosh darn hilarious. But Stiles... The feels... I have experienced Sleep Paralysis, although it was nothing like how the show portrayed it, but I still feel for him... Anyways, moving on. I'm not sure how I feel about Allisaac. I mean, she tried to kill him in Season 2. If someone tried to kill me, I probably wouldn't trust them again, even as friends, let alone in a dating type of thing. So I'm not completely sure of Isaac's thought processes here. Maybe he likes danger. I don't know. Anyways, then there's Scott. I don't know, I just didn't think his hallucination was all that bad. Kill me. I mean, Stiles gets the paranoia thing, and Allison sees her zombie aunt in the morgue, but all Scott sees is his shadow changing. Ooh, so terrifying. Then there's the whole coyote attack, which I guessed from the start it would be the killed girl who shifted. Like, big shocker there. The baby DID scare me a bit. I have a fear of creepy dolls, so yeah.
Oh, look, it's tied up Derek and Peter. Lovely. Just lovely. Of course. And look, they're shirtless too. What fun! Oh wait, it's not fun, because THEY'RE BEING TORTURED. Who could it be? Such mystery. Much wonder. WOW.

More thoughts on the letters

If it is some kind of code which kind is it? There are hundreds of different codes out there from the book code to the code that allows us to use computers the way we do. Or maybe there will be more letters in the credits of next episode. I wonder if the words Rat, Wedding, and Bow have any thing to do with the letters at the end of the episode. No, because Rat was simireveild in this episode with the Rat being the would be bomber, the one who unsuccessful attempted to blow the parliament building sky high.
~Sam

Thought about the credits code

I just had a thought about the highlighted letters in the credits of Sherlock. What if it's not an anagram, but some other type of code? I mean, if we were Sherlock, an anagram would be almost too easy. But if it was another code, it might be a little more difficult. Just a thought. Maybe a common displacement of the letters? Does anyone have any ideas?
~Castiel

Words for the letters

Some ideas for the words for the letters, which as we know are W, E, N, G, C, H, I, A, N, G.
  • win change
  • chance win (I know that it is missing the g's)
  • wing chance
Hope there will be more letters in next episodes credits. Because these letters don't make any sense.

Waking up to the FEELS

I woke up to the scent of tears. I wondered, what is the meaning of the life of a fangirl? It couldn't possibly be just to cry at everything... So the Knights decided we need a little laughter in our life, after . What's the perfect remedy? A light-hearted comedy known as Space Balls!

In case you didn't know, Space Balls is a parody of Star Wars. We just started watching it, and so far it's completely hilarious! I'm lovin' it!

"Light Speed is too slow! We need... Ludicrous Speed!"

Anyways, I'll catch you all later! I'm just gonna sit and wash away the feels with a good laugh!

~Castiel

ALL THE FEELS!!!

The OTP of this episode of Sherlock was crushed!!!!!! Crying so hard!!!

Watching Sherlock Series 3 Episode 1

Still in the midst of watching the Sherlock Series 3 premiere with the other Knights. We keep having to pause due to our feels. ~Vocaloid Otaku probably had the most feels out of all of us, but I'm sure she can tell you about it in her own post at some point, if she feels up to it. We all had a bonding moment as we comforted each other, it was quite nice.
Anyways, there's a couple parts I have comments about.

Me when Sherlock kissed Molly: OMG I DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL I SHIP BOTH SHERLOLLY AND JOHNLOCK WHAT DO I DO
Me when Sherlock asked Molly to accompany him: THE DOCTOR HAS A NEW COMPANION!
Me when I saw Watson's moo-stache: Gross, a caterpillar on his lip. I agree, it ruins the whole look.

Also, did anyone notice that Sherlock seems more human in this episode? I found it strange to see him displaying emotions.

I'm interested in the new villain! He seems really interesting, and creepy.

Did anyone notice the highlighted letters in the credits? We think it's a code for a little message, for the fans to try and deduce like Sherlock! If anyone wants to help us figure it out, here's the letters:

W, E, N, G, C, H, I, A, N, G

This is the exact order they appeared. Let's see all of you deduce with us!

Overall, it was an emotional rollercoaster. I think we're just going to sit and discuss for a while! See you later!
