Last weekend, my brother broke my 3DS. My dad said he'd try to fix it, and if he can't, I'll buy another one, but the point is, we'll have to pause on the Fandom Run of Pokemon Y. So, while we wait, I thought you might like to try something else, that might be a little more interesting to all of you: I'm gonna play my Sims 3, but I'm going to make every character a character from a different fandom. I'll put them all in a house together, and watch how they interact. Sound fun? My first post will be immediately after I make them, so check back to see all the info on the charactersims!

Season of Love
Well, it's That time of year again. The one holiday that sparks a feeling of either complete twitterpation (#Bambi), or complete loneliness. You've probably seen commercial after commercial of fine jewlary that would be perfect for your significant other. Or you walk down the isle at any grocery store and see a vast colony of red and pink hearts and flowers. And the words "Valentine's" and "Day" put together just send either a chill of resentment or a feeling of love and affection throughout your body. To be honest, everyone in this world has their own view of Valentine's Day differently, but to those who are involved in fandoms, February 14 comes as a day where we stop and realize that our hearts aren't broken by our favorite shows, books, and movies all the time. But if you still cannot feel the love, here are some ways to help you at least try not to cry (or maybe they will, I don't know. I'm not you) :
1. Watch anything that empowers the single life. It's ok if they hint at a romantic relationship a little bit, but it's best if the protagonist is single throughout the movie.
2. Write some fan fiction on your favorite OTP. You currently may not be having a great Valentine's Day but you'll feel a whole lot better knowing that your favorite OTP has a chance at a day for love.
3. Eat a bunch of chocolate. The one and only remedy for a lonely heart. Eat as much as you'd like. See's Candy is in an abundance of delicious goodies this time of year.
Then there are those like me who actually don't mind this holiday, and use it as a chance to do any of the following:
1. Watch any and/or all Disney Princess movies.
2. Read your favorite romance book. I recommend either Dream Factory by Brad Barkley & Heather Hepler or Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin.
3. Sing at least one love song. Might I suggest "Love Is an Open Door", or "A Whole New World", or... oh just sing anything Disney today.
4. Let the most important people in your life know how much you appreciate their presence in your life. (These people can be either realistic or fictionalized, whichever floats your boat.)
There you go. Two list of possible ways to spend February 14. Just be careful what treats you may accept from other people. They may be supplied with an unwanted love potion of some sort...

Fandom Run of Y
For those fan girls and boys that also play the modest game of Pokemon, I decided to start a fandom run of Pokemon Y. I will be catching, naming, and basing my team off of various fandom characters. Tune in to see my team after every gym!
